How does Second Shift work?
You record a voice note describing a job, the same way you'd explain it to a coworker. Second Shift listens and sorts what you said into work completed, outstanding work, labour hours, and materials. You review everything before anything is saved or sent, then turn it into a quote or invoice with one tap.
How much does Second Shift cost?
Second Shift is free to try for 7 days. After the trial, it's $29.99 CAD per month, and you can cancel anytime.
Is Second Shift available on Android?
Second Shift is currently available on iOS only, through the App Store.
Does Second Shift require typing?
No. Second Shift is built around voice first — you talk through the job and the app does the sorting. You can still edit anything by hand on the review screen if you want to.
Does Second Shift send anything automatically without my review?
No. Every quote, invoice, or message Second Shift drafts is shown to you for review before it's saved or sent — nothing goes out automatically.
Can Second Shift send invoice reminders?
Yes. You can mark an invoice paid with one tap, or send a friendly payment reminder that Second Shift drafts for you when an invoice is overdue.
